Bear Water Industry (Bernardo)
This 3-stage Water filtration system is perfect for the average 1600-square-foot Southern California residence. (Larger systems are available for homes over two thousand square feet.)
Stage One: Sediment Filter (20-micron)
The primary purpose of this stage is to remove larger particulate matter from the water, such as sand, silt, rust, and dirt.
Stage Two: Granular Carbon Filter (20-Micron)
This stage uses active carbon granules to absorb contaminants. The primary purpose is to remove chlorine taste and odor, chloramines, and volatile organic compounds (VOC).
Stage Three: Polyphosphate Filter
This stage sequesters minerals like calcium and magnesium to prevent limescale buildup on pipes, fixtures, and appliance heating elements. This provides the home with soft water without using salt.
