Stage 2: Chlorine Taste and Odor Reduction

• This carbon water filter reduces chlorine taste and odor, improving water quality for general-purpose filtration needs. The granular activated carbon (GAC) conforms to NSF Standard 42 material requirements.

Stage 3: Water Softening

• This water softening cartridge reduces dissolved mineral hardness caused by calcium and magnesium. Hard water can lead to pipe scale and unpleasant taste. This filter removes calcium and magnesium ions, replacing them with sodium or potassium ions.
